Urgent Mental Health Support in Liverpool
NHS - 111
Mersey Care provides 24-hour urgent mental health support for people in Liverpool and the surrounding area.
• Call 111 and select the mental health option
• Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• You can call for yourself or on behalf of someone else
A trained mental health professional will talk with you, assess what support you may need and help identify the most appropriate next steps.
Liverpool Light
If you are aged 18 or over and need somewhere safe to go for support during a mental health crisis, Liverpool Lightprovides an alternative to attending A&E where appropriate.

• Call NHS 111 and select the mental health option for urgent mental health support
• Contact your existing mental health care team or care coordinator, if you have one
• Attend A&E if you have seriously injured yourself or require urgent hospital treatment
